It’s 15 years for Ram Pothineni – Sukumar’s Classic Hit ‘Jagadam’
It’s been a while since jagadam has been out of theatres yet the songs are still hummed and the scenes are still remembered.
While the director Sukumar’s writing and Ram’s phenomenal making is still talked over by renowned directors, It’s undoubtedly a classic.
On this day in 2017, creative genius Sukumar’s Jagadam has been out unleashing the swag of Ustaad Ram Pothineni.
Although it’s been 15 years, the craze and impact of mass scenes, elevation scenes, DSP’s music and Ram’s performance still stays in the hearts of audiences. Movie DVD stays in thr library of Bollywood directors.
Back then Sukumar used the same camera equipment, Steven Spielberg shot the Magnum Opus films. Many technicians took this movie as reference shot in Super 35 format.
Jagadam is Ram’s 2nd movie but his performance seems like he’s been in industry for a long time.
“He was just 17 years old. He never said he can’t or he won’t. Whatever I said him to do he just takes 10 mins to practice and used to perform sharp & brilliantly. He looked like a wonder boy on sets. I strongly believed that he’ll definitely reach heights and he proved it right.” said Sukumar in an interview.
Sukumar proved his Mass making at Pan-Indian level with Pushpa while Ace directors like Rajamouli and others acclaimed his creative brilliance many times.
Meanwhile, Ram has garnered huge fanbase from North Audiences with million views to his Hindi dubbed Telugu movies. As of now, he’s doing ‘The Warriorr’ and then an exciting commercial entertainer in Boyapati’s direction.
Amidst this hype, if they both really join for Jagadam remake it would definitely be a celebration.
Speaking on the same, Sukumar said he wishes to work with Ram again and if there’s any possibility I would love to make Jagadam remake with Ram at his best performance level now.
Well, that’s what their fans expect too.
